Genuine friendship is very important to me. I go to them to find rest and laughter. A strong support. A source of hope, wisdom and love. I felt understood and accepted by them. I felt at home. In my experience we found each other in this sacred space of service. Here, we brainstormed, planned and prepared. We ate, prayed and played. We stayed in one roof for a night or more as we ran a retreat or leadership training. When challenges arose, we dialogued and troubleshot. Lastly, we evaluated and celebrated.
This is truly a fertile soil for friendship. I am very grateful to all my amazing friends.
